Jessie James Decker has some advice for Taylor Swift when it comes to dating an NFL player, based on her own experience with a professional athlete. During an interview with Fox News Digital at the People’s Choice Country Awards, Decker was asked about Swift’s rumored relationship with Travis Kelce, and she shared her insights on the topic.
With a smile on her face, Decker confessed that she has no advice to give to her friend who is about to date a football player for the first time. Having been with her husband, Eric Decker, a former professional football player, for 13 years, she believes that the experience of dating an athlete is unique, and it’s all about having fun. Decker also acknowledged that it’s a world her friend has never experienced before, so she should just enjoy the ride.
With a laugh, she shared with Fox News Digital that she understood the rumors and was happy about them. Her husband, Eric, initially didn’t want to comment on it but eventually advised Taylor Swift to embrace the attention and enjoy it. It has been a busy year for Swift with her incredibly successful Eras Tour and her recent breakup with Joe Alwyn. Speculation arose that she might be romantically involved with Matt Healy before rumors started circulating about her alleged connection with Kelce.
Kelce’s brother Jason acknowledged that he wasn’t certain but indicated the dating rumors about Kelce and Swift were seemingly true. However, Travis Kelce has not yet confirmed their relationship, although he revealed that he left the decision up to Swift. Recently, Swift was seen at a Chiefs game with Kelce’s mother, wearing red and white, the Chiefs’ colors. They were also seen together after the game. There is speculation that Swift will attend Kelce’s game against the New York Jets on Sunday. In contrast, Decker has been in a long-term relationship with Eric since their marriage in 2013 and has three children with another one on the way. Decker mentioned in an interview that her kids were thrilled upon hearing the news of their upcoming sibling.
